LeJog Day Four

Set off at 7.30 after a wonderful breakfast served up in a grand dining room. The weather is overcast and breezy. My route now heads North past Bristol, over the Severn Bridge into Wales, then back into England, climbing up through the Forest of Dean, through Hereford and ending up in Leominster. A few incidents within the first couple of hours. Firstly a flock of sheep who just weren't going to let me pass!. Then my trusty satnav took me down a country land at the end of which a completely overgrown, impassable track. Had to turn around therefore a make a detour. Soon after  two rear spokes decided they'd had enough.... Luckily I knew a Halfords (open Sundays...) just a mile off my route neer Bristol. The shop was heaving and after some gentle persuasion, Graham fixed the wheel, eventually replacing four spokes. Thanks! The sun was now shining and really  quite hot. Eventually arrived at the B&B at 8pm to a warm welcome by Margaret (quant Irish accent) with a cup of tea and home-made coffee and walnut cake. Tomorrow possibly the hottest day of the year, with thunderstorms thereafter..
